BRIEF

We convert your brief into a PDR, or product development request. Whether you are starting new development, using a library base, or reverse engineering, we work together to understand your brief, explore benchmarks, match cost of goods, align on actives & no-no lists, to convert your brief into a successful formula.  

SAMPLE SUBMISSION

We kick off the ‘making’ process by writing a paper formula, completing a regulatory compliance review, and securing other ingredients we may need. Then it’s time to bench, aka where the magic happens. We send the product sample out to the customer for review and redirect as needed (but we’re pretty good at getting it right the first time).

TESTING & SCALE-UP

Testing is key and of huge importance. The product type will dictate the testing required, but you will often hear fun words like long-term stability, micro & assay, compatibility, RIPT. Don’t worry, we’re on top of it all. We conduct or oversee all testing, and our engineers and chemists make sure your product scales up from bench to launch successfully.

PO & PRODUCTION

The ball gets rolling when your PO hits our hands. At this stage, we drive purchases of ingredients and components, set dates of arrival and conversion into batching and filling schedules. Once we’re “all clear,” we produce the batch, test again, send it down one of our many filling lines, twist some caps, squeeze some tubes, and test again (you’ve got to be sure!)—getting you closer and closer to the shelf.
